Shoelaces Introduction

Shoelaces are commonly referred to as shoe strings, shoe laces or boot laces. They are a system used to secure shoes on the foot. The shoelace can make certain that shoes fit in the proper way. A pair of shoelaces can make all the difference in the look and fit of the shoe. A shoelace has two mechanisms, one being the woven tape that pulls the shoe closely together and the second being the aglet, the hardened tip at the end of the lace that fits through the eyelets on the shoe.
